West Drove

5 West Drove North, Walton Highway, Wisbech, PE14 7DP

A brick house with a slate roof, taken from dated, failing rooms through a full interior refurbishment to a finished home.

West Drove, brick house after refurbishment

The works

What the photos show

The earlier rooms were at the end of their life: peeling paint, blown plaster, bare floorboards, an old kitchen and a bathroom that needed replacing. One photograph catches the strip-out mid-way, with tiles and plaster coming off, the old kitchen still in place, and the consumer unit opened up.

The finished house is a different building inside. Walls have been made good and decorated, floors replaced, and the kitchen, bathroom, downstairs W/C and living room fitted out from scratch. New oak doors, updated lights and radiators run through the bedrooms.
